Not separated into parts
Modern breathwork platforms often presented the practice in parts and with a purpose: a formula for performance, another for anxiety, another for sleep. The benefits, while tangible and important, do not always persist over time, and this is, in part, because the techniques are approached in isolation. In yoga, we do not separate things that way. Pranayama sits within a larger path and works with the mind and body as a whole. Lasting effects come with repetition and consistent practice, and extend further than any single outcome.
