Becoming a sādhaka
In yoga, a person committed to practice is called a sādhaka. A practitioner.
The word does not describe someone who has mastered the path, but someone who has chosen to walk it. A sādhaka learns primarily through experience. Understanding develops through practice itself, rather than through theory alone.
As you enter Centre, the duration of the practices increases and the foundations become more important. These sits are preparing the ground for what follows, particularly dharana (concentration), where attention itself becomes the object of training.
